RACE EQUALITY (MCC)


Advise MCC on delivering their requirements under the Race Relations (Amendments) Act 2000.

Participate in MCC Race Equality working groups to evaluate progress

Monitor and scrutinise Department action plans and produce reports

 

MCC develops comprehensive RES and action plans to meet legislative requirements and race equality objectives

 
RACE EQUALITY (OTHER)

Provide advice and support to residents and organisations in developing policies and strategies to eliminate racial discrimination, promote equality of opportunity and build community relations

 Public bodies meet their obligations under the Race Relations (Amendments) Act 2000 and other sectors provide enhanced race equality
